Messrs Thomas Patersom and Co., fruit and produce agents, Marine street, report for the week ending June 10 ;— Fruit.-We, report no change. Choice pears are worth 4d per lb. Apples range from 7s 66. to 8s 6d for local cooking; 8s to 10s dessert: imported - apples, 12s. Oranges: D.E. Tahiti (for which we a*e agents), the beat for keeping,, with littlo waste, „6s to 7s; Island, 4a to ss. Pineapples, 12s per case. Bananas, 2d to 2<td. Grapes, Is. Tomatoeß, 4d to sd. Peanute, 3d to 3Jd. Coeoanuts, 11s. Barcelonas, new dates, figs, <fee. lowest prices. Produce—Eggs very scarce. Fresh butter {want- d), 8d to lOd ; prime salt butter, 8d to 9d. (wanted). Bacon : 'Roll, s£d. Hams. 6Jd to 7d. Cheese: Factory. 4Jd to 4|d; dairy, 3Jd to 4jd. Honey: Prime, 44d; medium, 3d to 3id. ,-Beeswsx, Is Id. Potatoes:' Uerwents, £2 17s 6d to £3 sa.
