The disease first appeared m eruptions on her head, then her hair began to fall out, and' in spite of the best medical advice and treatment she grew steadily worse. The sores were full of matter and were extremely "offensive. Her eyes became affected, and she was, in truth, in a terrible state. My neighbors were very sympathetic and took great interest in the case.
