Mr Boreham in Oanaaru Mail ana in Otago Witness gives a variation showing a win for Black. This win has been previously given by Mr W. 0. Belden, of Cucamongo, California, U.S.A. ; and Mr James „,,. n P. Murray, Orange, New York, [White ] U.S.A., maintains the terms of the position by the following play :—
(*) Mr Belden nitons the result by 23 26. and wins for Blaok. lir Borcham &vtn more detailed pla.y on tints position iv the Oamaru Mail, for which he dtsMiiyes the l&aoks of students of the Same.
