ADDINGTON STOCK SALES.
(Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, May 27. The entries at Aldington to-day were small in most departments. The attendance was fairly good. Fat Cattle.— Th«re was a small entry, mostly cow beef. There \vns a fair demand for ordinary sovls i»t rates Utf-lv ruling. Steers brought £5 t6 £8 10a, hrfiferi- ,£i 2 (> i t-> £6 ss, and cows £315s to £Q 10s. Dairy Cattle.—There was a fair entry with keen competition for really good sorts. Best springers and milkers brought £6 10s to £810s. Store Cattle.—Only a few dry cows were yarded, and practically no business was done. Fat Sheep.—There was a small yarding of irregular quality, and theie was an absence of the keenness of competition which has been noticeable lately.
