The bride's drees was composed of ivory satin trimmed with rioh Honiton lace, and wreath and veil of tnlle. She was attended by four bridesmaids, the two Misses Aoland (her sisters), Miss Empson, and Miss Rolleston. Thoir pretty costumes were composed of white muslin trimmed with lace and yellow silk, aud black pioture hats with feathsrs of black and yellow ; and each bridesmaid wore a silvor-mounted hat pin, the gift of the bridegroom. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Harper and the Rev. Mr Preston, and the church was most beautifully decorated for the occarion. After the ceremony the village children strewed the path with flowers when the happy couple left the church. Since I suppose wo shall follow the example of England, America, and Melbourne, and develop a "Trilby Craze" presently, I must commend to your notice an extremely pretty and musicisnly gavotte by Miss Annette Wilson, called the" Trilby Gavotte." It really is a charming composition, delicate, quaint, and not too difficult. I hope it may prove as popular as it deserves to be, for one would like to think that a composer living in our midst need not go beyond our own community for the recognition she destrvee.
