Parliament was opened this afternoon by - the Governor with tbe usual ceremony. Tbe Governor, in bis Speech, referred in sympa- . thetic terms to the death of Sir Henry Paike*, and expressed a belief that the attendance of all-Jbe colonies at the Federal Convention was assuied. .
