. ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT. Better writes :— Would you be 60 kind as to answer in your correspondence column the following : I have got two pups out of a spaniel setter by a spaniel dog. Noticing them getting very thin, I took special notice as to what th;*y passed, and Dn Friday night last one of them passed a worm 7or 8 inches long. They are three months old, aqd seem fairly at a standstill. They are fed on' bread broken up amall, mixed with well boiltd lico. Can you tell me th*. best thing I can give them to effect a speedy cure, also what 1/ should give them to eat, as I think they ought t'i be a bit larger. They are no trigger now than they were a month ago. The pupa have worms. After fasting for a day, give 10 grains of areca-nut iv milk, and write again telling me the age, when 1 will advise about diet.
