THE OFFICIAL CALENDAR OF THE DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
The Otigo Witness hai bean appointed the Official Caleudar for the publication of all programmes in the Provincial District of Otago, in terms of Rule 17 of the Roles of Racing. ' Kale 17 reads :— " The programme of each meet* ing ia which the added mosey is £150 or upwards must bo advertised in full once at least in the Official Calendar. The advertisement shall show that the programme has been approved by the Jockey Club, shall state the dayß on which the meeting is to begin and end, And the names of the stewards, judge, starter, clerk of scales, and handicapper. - All notifications for the future published inthiscolumn are io published under the authority of th» Dunedin Jockey Club, and are binding on country cluba and others, who must; therefore \tfuly note the same. The committee of the Danedin ' Jockey Club .meet on the last Thursday in each month to pass programmes and transact general business. SYDNEY JAMES. Secretary.
