Messi'3. Wright, Sxephenson, and Co. report as follojys :— At Saturday's sale there was a poor attandance of buyew and a nioderat- number of horses of all clashes forward. Draught horses were poorly represented, those forward consisting mo3tly of aged aud inferior ones, and for tlle&e the demand was very slack. There is good inquiry for really first-class young draughts, and had any been offered we feel confident they would have sold well. The demand foi bpring-earte-y continues to be good, but tlie entries consisted for thy; luott p*rtof inferior ones, aiH for the-.e th- inquiry is much less than for young, active hcusi-s There wis a fair number of hacks and light harness horses forward. For really fi bt-class animals of this sort tke demand ia good, but fur light and inferior ones thero is no inquiry. Next Saturday our sale will start at 9 am. sharp, to allow buyers to attend the races, We quote :—Heavy draught?, four to six years, £22 to £27; do eight to tc-n year*, £15 to £20; li«ht and sm.dl do, £8 to £12; a?td and inferior da, £i to £7; upst m-iius- spring- ' cart hoises, youug and sound, £L 2to £16 ; wellbred upstanding hacks and harnuas horses, £16 to
£20; upstanding hacks and harness horses, £10 to i £U; aged and inferior, £2 to £5. .
