The National Dairy Association have issued the following important circular to all intu'eatfcd in the'Siiuth Inland of New Zealand :—: — Gentlemen, — It has bten decided to hold Ihe annual matting and conference of m^mbrrs on Tuesday, the 9th of June, at 11 30 a.m , and following days, as may be found ufetful. Tuesday baa been selected as the first day so as to allow delegates to attend the winter show, after the business has been fairly started, if not concluded. My committee, 'ecognising the difficult position oF the dairy industry, desire to have a stro: g and repreiontative oonferenoe, at;d they invite every factory iv the South Island of New Zealand to participate and help by sending two or more delegates. The indenting of material. The question Of a produce representative in Loidon. The functions, work, and position of the secretary and of the association. Whether the Government should continue to chill butter for shipment free of cost. Whether Government should be asked to erect aud equip a dairy experimental station in the South Island. The qua^tjon of cheaper rail«ge. The question of cheaper freights. The question of cool chambers in steamers, and the proper temperatures for cheese aod butfcer.
