THE ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the members of the society was held at 8 30. Mr A. Bathgate (vice-president) occupied the chair, and there were between 40 and 50 present.
The annual report (as already published) and balance sheet were circulated and their adoption moved by the Chairman, seconded by Sir Bayley.
In speaking to the motioD, Mr Ireland complimented the outgoing committee on the continued success of the society, and suggested that the incoming committee should give mote encouragement to exhibitors of pot plants, al«o that men should be appointed to receive and attend to exhibits as they came in. The adoption of the report and balance sheet was unanimously agreed to. The following office-bearers were elected :— President, Ut A, Bathgate ; vice-president, SSr
W. Wills ; hon. treasurer, Mr A. Marshall'} oornmittee — Messrs Nimmo, Blair, Sidey, Munden, Moritzsoo, Clarke, Burnside, White, G. A R'-ade, Sinclair Thomson, Effing, and George Ward ; auditor, Mr J. Monerieff . A vote of thanks to the retiring committee was oarried.
