Weigel's Australian Journal of Fashion for May presents its usual number of illustrations, without however suggesting anything very original. The principal feature which strikes me — and stylish girls will do well to notice it — Is. the fact that an entirely new effect in hairdrcssing " has come to stay." It is the effect which readers of American illustrated magazines will have noted as worn by fashionable American women. In looking at these coiffures one comprehends why fashion journals are insisting- on the hats being worn well tilted foffward.
