May 9. — In this district threading, with the exception of those who ate holding till spring, is pretty well finished. He holds a clearing sale ot stock, implfineute, Ac., on Wednesday, 13th. iost. icing a public man, and one who has done much for the district, he will be greatly miesed. Ecclesiastical.— The Episcopalians intend to fot m a congregation here, and hold their first service in the hall 'to-moxrow evening, Mr Aehton, lay reader, officiating. Mr Butterfield, their cleigyman, who resides at River ton, will conduct the service himself occasionally.
