An address to Bishop Nevill, of Dunedin, in connection with bis silver jubil«e is being signed here bj former residents of Ot&go of a widely representative oharncter. The signatures include those of ex- Ministers of the Crown, judges of the Supreme Court, the president of the "New Zealand Wcsleyan Church, prominent civil servants, bankers, barristers, and merchants.
From Westport last week 54-28 tons of coal were exported, of nhich the Wc-stporb Cool Company shipped 3258 tons, the C.vrdiff Compaoy 1323 tons, and the Mokihiuui Company 8« 60H?.
