THE VENEZUELAN BOUNDARY.
London, April 27. Sir J. Pauncefote, British Minister at Washington, has been authorised to negotiate upon the whole question with the Venezuelan Minister. Mr J, S. Smalley. the well-known journalist, reports that the American Government are willing to use their influence towards the acceptance of direct negotia- 1 tione. Mr Carncross, M.H.R., is communicating with "Wjeisters o» the subject of workmen's 4ain* i» Siosgiel. '
