At the same time and place they offered Mr Thomas Gilleepie's farm of 240 acres, beiog part of section 2, block VII, Crookston, which was at one time a portion of the Spylaw estate. Owing no doubt to the number of sales that have l>.en held of late and ■ farmers in consequence getting tired of them, the attendance was small. The farm waß offered flrat, but had to be p»B?ed in ; it was, however, afterwards sold privately at a satisfactory price to Mr Alexander Barren, of Dunrobin. The farm is admitted to be one of the best of its kiad in the Crookston district, and Mr Barron is to be congratulated upon luk purchase.
