ODAM'S SHEEP DIP.
FLUID AND POWDER. j HAVE NO EQUALS. j ANDREW BLAKE, Farm Steward to her Majesty the Queen. Oaborne, Cowes, I W. , Writes 18th September 1893:— "I have been waiting to see the result of a thorough test of the OtUms's Fluid Dip you sent me, and lam pleased to bo able to report most favourably of it. It is fatal to insect life in any animal, and as a cheep dipt it is not surpassed by the beat I have tried, and so . easily mixed. The wool retains a nice,, mellow touch that is not to be felt after some 'dips, add tbe ewes we experimen ted- upon (about 100) are not disturbed by flies afterwards. We have kept them apart from th« rest of tho flock to watch the effect of the Dip, and can speak with confidence of its merits." H.RH. THE PRINCE OF WALFS : In regular use on the firms at Sandringbam W. ROACH, F.R.C.V.S., York Road, Exeter, v Writes 20th September, 1893 :- . "By request I attended at J. N. Franklin's, JSsq., CO., the Bussells, Huxham, Exeter, and •witnessed tho dipping of about 400 Devon longirool Bheep with the Odams'i Dip. I found that tbout a 30 seconds' immersion of the sheep effectually killed all the ticks. About three weeks inbsequently I visited the flock and found no trace* whatever of any ticks ; tho fleecea were beautifully white. and the skins quite healthy. The dip is easily mixed ; it is a valuable disinfectant, and I itrongly recommend it as an efficient &ip. We are somewhat late in introducing Odams's Dips to the New Zealand sheepowners, and cannot yet refer to any local users, as this ia our first season. We will undertake to say, however, that "once used, always used," and that henceforth no sheepowner giving these dips a trial will ever have cause to regret the experiment. An improved fljece, absolute freedom from animal life, scab, and the worry pf flies^are desiderata not to be lightly esteemed, Put up in lgal, 2gal, sgal. and lOgal drums (non-poitonons fluid) ; and in cases of 3doz, Gdoz, and 12doz packets of powder (poisonous). Each gallon of Odams's fluid is sufficient for lOOgal of dip, and each paoket for 25gal, Remember that these dips are more highly concentrated, more effective, and cheaper in the end than any others in tbe market. Speoial quotation! to jßtation-owuers dipping large flocks.
