LETTERS FROM LITTLE FOLKS.
Dear Dot, — I am an old cat-, and my name is Sandy. Do you remember when I wrote to you some time since I promised to write again and tell you all about my old friend Strawberry P I could not tell you anything about her now, for we have parted long. I still live at the same old homestead, but when I show my face at the kitchen door I am chased because I am so ngly and a great thief, but when I see the milkmaid coming I run inside and hide till she opens the dairy, door— then I tun in and steal some milk.— l am, &c, Sandit. As you are so ugly, the least you can do is to endeavour to ba good, and keep from stealing and sneaking. — Dot.] Dear Dot,— l am writing to you to tell you how pleased I was when I saw my letter in the Witness last week. I always like looking at the letters for little folks. I hare & little grey and white kitten, Dot ; would you please gire mo a name for it. It is a very playful kitten, and is very fond of comping.
