April 24 — We have had veny unsettled 1 wsa.th.er here lately, befng. dry one day and wet the n<-xt three. The grain about hers is all safely gtacUed,, but only two farmers have as yet threshed. ■*hooti»g Season. - Docks and pigeons are very ware- here- this- sea*on, but I have notiodseveral flocks of the former passing ronnd the coast The crops of turnips are looking very We>l about here, the most of them being sown Carly. The potatoes, as far as I hear, have done* •cry well with the exception of one or two crops.
