April 27 —Changeable weather is still being oxp«ri«nced, sunshine being followed by very heavy rain with frosty mights. A few of our invalids are improving. MV Moffitt made an excellent, M.C, and Messrs Edwards, Collins, and Rae supplied the music. •School ("'omiwttbb —Only seven persons attended the' animal meeting for the election of a scho&l committee Mr C. Robertson wtvu voted to the chair. The total expenditure for the 'yearwas £35 3s Id, and the committee showed a credit of £2 3s 9d. The average attendance has been, 117. Mr Sproat proposed, and Mr Sutherland seconded, that the co mittee for ISftrt bet Mes»rs Sutherland, T. Taylor, C. Robertson, J Davidson, P. R. OUrk, NRtion,,and Sproat.— Carried. Mr CL RoVierteon was appointed chairman, and Mr T. Taylor secretary and treasurer. It was proposed by Mr Robertson, and seconded by Mr Taylor, that the secretary -write to the .Education Board asking that body to enlarge the infant room,, it being, erected for 50 pupils, while at present 73 attend.

Accident.— Mr A. M'Gregor, Wendonßide, who was kicked' by a- horse on- the leg; is now improving.
