Lawrence.— ln loving r-membrance of Edward Lawrence, wbo lost his life while bathing at Ocean Beach, Dunelin, April 27, 1893. Three long years, yet how short, Have pa-sed away since Our loved one went away. Yet again we hopa to meet him When the day of life is fled, And in Heaven, with joy to greet him, Where no farewell tears are shed.

Poole. — In remembrance of my beloved husband, John Poole, who died at Titnaru (the result of an at cident on,the racecourse) on the 22ud April 1894 ; also of my dear mother, who was accidentally killed on the 22nd April 1889. Both deeply regretted.
