OWAKA.
December 16 —Air Adam, sen., father of Mr Alexander Adapi, of Owaka, died very suddenly at his son's residence on Wednesday last at 9 30 a.m. He was preparing to leave for Waihola that evening. He lud been oiling fora few days. The funeral tojk plac-i a r Otakia on Saturday. In the Owaka Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening feeling referenre was niadu to ibe death. Deceased was 8d" years of age and very highly respected.
