MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Fdwakd Thomas and Co., wool, sheep, skin, rubbitbkin, and hide exporters, Bond strcot, report as follows :—: — Sheepskins. — Prices remain very firm at 6d for prime sound-pelted combing crossbieds, and up to tijd for extra choice ; fair to good crossbred, 5d to sjd ; dead crossbred, 4d to 4Jd ; dead hoggets, 5d to u'd for best extra clean and well saved. Combing merinos are worth 4d to 4J<3, according to condition ; dead merinos, 3d to 4Jd. lUbbitskins — Supplies are beginning to fall off, and as we have tome oidern for winters still uncompleted prices are very firm for best akius. Springs are also in good demand, but are a class of skins not liked by our London friends. We have 1 no change to report in prices. Hide*. — WV have outlets for any quantity at up I to 4d per lb for extra htavy prime ox. Lifeht and cows rangd from 2d to 3d. Horsehair, 13Jd to 13|d, and up to 14d for extra good.
