BAD WEATHER.

Sydney, September 24. A heavy snowfall and intensely cold weather are reported from the mountains inlaid. TheTe is great mortality amongst lambs and cheep owing to the cold following on the drought. She met with a terrifio gale from the Ist to the 16th September. Tbe sea smashed the boats to matchwood. The captain, chief officer, and a number of the crew narrowly escaped being washed overboard.
