An invitation having been issued to tho Pbcouix Club aiid other bowlwrs, sides were selected by the respeclive pr6*idenfca, Measra D. MPhwson (Oaraata) and G. M. Proctor (Ptwo'iix), there beij-g tv»o full rinka and throe rinks with six pUy»*s each, aud after a pleasant afternoon had been spunt it was found that the Phceoix president's side's scores totalled one more than those of his opponents.
