Ib merely promises any encouragement in the Treasurer's power to the industry ; states what the duties are upon materials URpd in the manufacture; aud says thit the Government will be prepared to submit to Parliament a proposal for such remission of duty a? may be desirable upou machinery imported for tUe industry which cannot ha made in tho colony.
