A SPANISH WARSHIP FOUNDERS.

Havannah, September 19. The Spanish cruiter Sanchtz liarcjisteign, of 935 tons, came into collision with a steamer at the entrance to the harbour of Havauuab, and was wrecked. Thirty-four were drowned, including several officers, 116 being saved. September 20. Tbe collision wa* dua to the extinction of the side lights of the steamer which struck tho man-of-war owing to (he electric engine being stopped in order to extricate a sailor who got entangled in the machinery. The cruiser's boilers expjoded, and she eank in four minutes. An admiral was among those drowned.
