Franklin's, E^q , C.<!., the Buß«cUs, Huxbam, Exeter, and witnessed the dipping of about 400 Devon longwool sheep with the Odams'ti Dip. I found that about a 30 seconds' immerbion of the Bheep effectua ly killed "all the ticks. About three w«eks subsequently I visited the fkek and found no traceb wha ever of any ticks ; tho fieecej were beautifully white and ihe skins quite healthy. The oip is easily mixed ; it is a valuable ciisjnfectant, uuel I strongly iccommoud it as an efficient dip." We are somewhat late in introducing Odams'B Dips to the New Zealand sheep -wu«.r<«, and cannot yet refer lo any local ustrs, as this is our first season. We will undertake to say, however, th»t •'once ured, always used," and that henceforth no ehtepowner giving these dips a trial will ever hare cauie to regret tha experiment.
