The Windsor Magazine for Joly is interesting as ever — in fact, it; may fairly b« said to be the most interesting of all oar sixpenny magazines. There is a capital article on the houses of celebrated ptople, with of coarse pictures of the Eame, bat the best illustrations in the number are those t ei in " The Pictures at Birmingham," which forms the first of a series of articles on the "Ait Treasures ef the Province*." The two serial stories — " A Bid for Fortune," by Guy Bo' thby, and" The Grey Lady," by Merriman — continue with unabated excitement and interest; and among shorter articli-a, " What Prison Life is Really Like," " Difficulties of a Lady JSJcnlptor," and the first of a s«-riea of sketches Df suburbau London, en'itltd " The Life of CamberwelJ,"' nny be especially mentioned.
