WANGANUI FREEZING COMPANY.
Wanoanui, September 6. At the fifth annual meetiug of the Wang«.ui Freezing Company the report, after copgratu lating shareholders on tbe very successful year, showed that after paying all working expenses, iiiterrtt, &c, there remains a net profit of £3211 4s Id, which it is proposed to deal with as followa : — To payment of a dividend of 5 per cent., which would absorb £1208 5s 9d ; amount to be written off for depreciation, £1500 ; and to carry forward the balacoe, £502 18s 4d. The works have been fully employed since the 6<ascn commenced on 19ii November tast year, and the whole of the machinery aud plant is in first-cl»ss working order; but as the shareholders recognised that further machinery would moun au increased output they ah&taiued from ttking tho dividend, the vote to that effect being almost unanimous.
