Sydney, September 6. There is very little wagering yet for the Epsom Handicap. Georgife is firm favourite *t 10 to 1 ; Nobleman and Solanum are at 12 to 1; Albercore, 14 to 1 ; Valiant, ,16 to 1 ; Mostyn and Babel, 25 to 1. For the Metropolitan 5 to 1 is laid on tbe field, with Trier favourite. Brockleigh is suffering from a split hoof, and the chances are against his appearing at the meeting. September 8. Georgic is utill first favourite for the Epsom Handicap at 10 to 1, and The Trier holds pride of position for the Metropolitan at 5 to 1. Septemer 9. Brockleigh has been scratched for the Epsom Handicap and Metropolitan. Betting oa the Epsom Handicap is brisk. Noblem»n has displaced Georgie at the head of affairs, Mid is a pronounced favourite at 10 to 1. September 10. This was a busy morning on tho training tracks. S*;. Hippo, not fully extended, wtnt round the course proper in 2min 25sec. BcD Ray, going at three-quarter pace, did a milo and a-qu&tter in 2min 28see, shaping well. Maunlicher ran over Manssr, taking Zmin 42sec for the round. Royal Rose, working alone, showed good form. The best gallop oE the morning was done by Worm, who cov«ed a round on the grass track in 2mio Msec, and shaped so well that he waa made a better favourite than Mannlicher for the Derby*
