At accident occurred to-day at Stony Creek by which a man named Jamea Newton lost his life At about 3.30 p.m., while working on the ballast train, a face of earth fell upon ana crushed him. Not being killed outright, he was brought on to Gore fo» medical aid, but wa« bo severely injured that he died *oon after his arrival. The deceased was a young unmarried man, and h&8 relatives in this town.
