Larrikinism at Waipori. TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, — I notice a paragraph and letter in your columns re above. Just a word in justice to Waipori lads. That the disturbance iv.fe red to was prearranged is amply proved b> the f«ict that information re same with the names of the intending disturbers of the peace was received by me some days previously, and the concert tcarcely commenced when these parties, who were grouped together, attempted by sundry noises and remarks to disconcert certain pei formers, and continued this conduct in spite of remonstrance until the constable was introduced, when they suddenly quieted down a bit, and contented themselves with en< ouraging a slightly inebriated strapger in his clumpy witticisms until he was removed ; and if "Father" can see no "guile or larrikinism " in this conduct it is not to be wondered at' that the "boys" are unable to behave pro-
