as follows : — We held our weekly sale on Saturday when we offered two consignments of draught horses from the north and the annual draft of mix* d plough and light harness hordes frmn the Greenfield eEtate None of these horses were advertised in time to allow of country buyers knowing of the Bale, and in consequence all the buyers present were from the town or immediate locality. The demand in conßequencfi was not so bri' k as would otherwise have been the caEC had outside buyers known of the sale, but notwithstanding, nearly all the above hoi? e3 were placed at fairly satisfactory prices. The balance of the horses offered were composed almost entirely of inferior draughts and light harness howes and hacks, for which at present there is almost no demand. Next Saturday we shall offer a consignment of 45 young and active medium draught and springcart horses on account of Messrs Heggarty and M'Lean, of Sydney. These hotses were landed on Sarurdny, and are good useful horses of their class. We quote : — Heavy draughts (4yrs to Oyrs), £20 to £25 ; do (Byrs to lOyrs), £i 2 to £19: medium draughts (4yrs to fiyrs), £14 to £18 ; light and small do. £8 to £12 ; aged and i inferior do, £4 to £7 ; upstanding spring cart horses (young and sound), £12 to £16 ; active • spriDg van horses (do), £14 to £18 ; upstanding hocks and harness horses, £10 to £14; aged and . inferior do, £2 to £5.
