Dallas, scr 2 T. Bailey, lfeec 3 Isaac 3 made the best use of his handicap, and lod throughout, winning by a few lengths, Dallas boating Biiley oa the post. D.A.B.C. HYAMS FOURS. The final heat for the Hyama Cup and gold trophies presented by Messrs A. J. Bloxam and Co. took place on Saturday afternoon and resulted as follows. Distance, about one mita and a-half : — Holmes (stroke), J. W. Scurr (3), Davys (2), Burt (bow), E. Halford (cox) I Hunter (stroke), W. Foster O), Duncan (2), Anderson (bow), Hall (cox) Z Stohr (stroke), Bagley (3), Brooks (2), Snow (bow), Cole (cox) 3 Sullivan (utroke), Hartnett (3), Philip (2X Brodie (bow), F. Anderson (cox) * The weather was splendid, the water being v«j smooth, nnd a largo number of spectators pufc in an r>ppeArance. The race wa» productive of ft grand contest, the whole four b-Mug well together throughout. Hunter was the firafc to ahow ia front, but steering erraticMly interfe ed wibU Sullivan, allowing Holmes to get a slight lead, which in the run home he maintained, winning by a Ungih, Hunter beating Stohr on the port for second place; Sullivan close up. Time, 9min 15sec. Messrs Foster and -Stuart acted as starter and judge respectively.
From Greymouth last week 2070 tons COfil and 348.000 ft timber were exported.
