Mr E. J. Bryant reports having sold allotments 22, 23, 29. and 30, block 11, Abbot's Hill, for tfce sum of £35'>, to Mr J. F. Roberts. The annual report of the directors of the Longburn Slaughtering and Freezing Company, Weilington, states that the account" and balance sheet for the year ended 30th September show an apparent less on the operations for the season of £584 03 «d. During the 2G weeks the works were in operation 67,174 sheep and lambs were put through, of which number 21,850 were frozen on behalf of clients, 17,600 were purchased from growers and frozen, and 17,724 sheep were boiled down, from which 23,123 legs aud shoulders were frozen and 7757 were sold locally on account of growers.
