Timabu, October 30.
The twenty-ninth show of the Timaru A. and P. Association was held here to-day. The •weather was showery and the attendance small. Tho entries showed a slight falling off. Only sheep were judged to-day. In merinos Messrs jLfimltlLapd jy^JLyiKitoa dMilej L hoftoarjj >
Mr F. O. Murray was chief prizebakerin English Leicesters, Messrs R. Eelland, A. Grant, and D. Grant being the' other first prizetakers. For Border Leicester* the Pareora estate scoured first place with 25 points, Messrs Douglas and D. Grant beiug equ.tl for second. In Lincolns Messrs Brace Bros, swept the board, as also did the Levels estate in Romney Marsh. Messrs Rupert Parry and W. Grant had honours easy in Shropshires. Mr Stringfellow wou the inbred halfbred class, while the Levels estate took the big prize for freezers. The horses, &c. are to be judged to-morrow.
