Hurdles, of fiO.-sove. Two miles and a distance. — Stiephon, 10.12, 1; Couranto, 12 3, 2 These were the only starters. Won comfortably. Time, 4min 17 4-ssec. Dividend, £1 ]ss.
Hack Huhdles.— Tramore, 10.0, 1 ; Romeo, 9.5, 2 ; Pumau, 10 10, 3. Merman also ran. Time, 2min 57} sec. Dividend, £2 12s. » Atkinson Memorial Stakes, of 200sovs. One mile and a-half. — Royal Rose, 7.8, 1 ; Pinrose, 6.7, 2 ; Roaefeldt, 9.3, 3. Kent, Prioress, Krina, and Pill also ran. Won by a length. Time, 2min 44sec. Dividend, £4 16s. Nursery Handicap.— Maluri, C 2, 1; The Friar, 7.7,2. These were the only starters. Won easily. Time, lmin 6 3-ssec. Dividend, £1 7s. Friar's running, compared with the previous day, was inquired into, and the owner and rider cautioned. Hack Flat Race.— Cyrus 1, Hark 2, Swift 3. Won comfortably. Time, 2min 43 3-53ec. Dividend, £3 7a. Normandy Stakes.— Lottie, 8.3, 1; Musket, 7.12, 2 ; Pinrose, 7.9, 3. Won by a length. Time, 2min 25sec. Dividend, £4 Is.
The Bum of £3271 was put through the totalisator, making £7000 for the two days, or £532 more than last year. £65 was taken in bookmakers' fees.
