Alldisputes, claims, and objections arisingout of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whoever they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall be final. Legal proceedings batted. Eutries received only under these conditions. All entrances and acceptances to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Wain's Hotel, Dunedin, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, name of owner, pedigree, co'ours of the rider, and in cases of handicaps where horses have not previously started on the Dunedin course, performances of the horse. Any owner failing to declare his colours at time of entry will be fined 2sovs, unless the colours of the j owner of the horse be duly registered. i All entries and acceptances must be in the hands of the Secretary before 10 p.m. on their respective dates. Entries by telegram must be confirmed by letter at the earliest opportunity. All horses must be ridden in proper jockey costume. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be tiucd 2sovs. When two or more horses start the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be declared on date of acceptance and worn. Any person neglecting this rule to be lined 2sovs. Nominations, entries, and acceptances will not be received after the time stated under any pretence whatever, or without being accompanied with the necessary amount in cash. All races will be run under the Rules of Trotting as adopted by the Duuedin Jockey Club. Jockeys must walk and trot their horses in front of the stand before euch race.
