No entries will be received except on the following conditions : — That alldisputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decisions on all points connected with this programme shall be final. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered may be fined £1. Any person entering a protest must deposit £2, and should such protest be deemed frivolous by the Stewards, the amount shall be forfeited. Any person laying totalisator odds or conducting any game of chance will be ordered off the course. Five per cent, will be deducted from the_ stakes. Entries to state age, colour, and pedigree of horse, name of owner, and colours of the rider ; and in trotting races performances also must be given. Any owner failing to declare his colours at time of entry will be lined £2. The Dunedin Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to.
