London, February 14 The Nhw Zealand Government are inviting holders of 5 per cent, debentures for L 1,056,200 to conveot them into 3£ per cent, stock, the price offered being LIOB 10s for e»ery LIOO feboatnre. They al*o invite holders of L 378.800 of the 5 percent, debentures of the loan of 1863 to convert at Llls 10s for every LIOO debenture. Fwbruary 1 9. Applications hive nlready leen received for a large poition of Ihe New Zealand conversion stock. If the cable ia correct in stating that the debentures to be couverted bear 5 per cent, interest, the £1,056,200 referred to must bo the loan issued under "The Consolidated SLoi'k Acfc 1867," in which case there is uo accrued sinking fund. The £378,800 referred to was is«ued under the act of 1863, and on the 31st March l*st the accruod sinking fuad amounted to £118,126. The due date of the debentures is given aa the 155h July 192 4.
