The secretary of the Sandhills Gold Mining Company (Limited) reports lloz 4dwt 12gr of gold for four and a-half days' dredging. River very troublesome. The secretary of the Dunedin Gold Dredging Company (Limited) received the following telegram from the dredgemaster on Saturday :— " No dredging this week ; river far too high." The returns from Mr Gards's dredges for the week ending the 14th are as under :— Steam dredge, 230z ; current wheel, Boz. — Dunstan An Auckland telegram states that the amount of ore crushed and treated for the 38 days ended February 10 at the Waihi Gold and Silver Mining Company was 2279 tons, which yielded bullion valued at £6507. Mr Thomas Callender reports 80oz 19dwt 6gr retorted gold from the Sew Hoy Big Beach Gold Mining Company (Limited) tor the past week ending Saturday, the 17th inst., from two dredges, No. 2 dredge being aground all the week. gold from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited) for 86 hours in wash up to Saturday, the 17th inst. „..,,-,,, Mr Jabez Burton reports :— "The Ettrick Gold Steam Dredging Company (Limited) washed up 9oz Bdwt 6gr of gold, value £36 9s 4d, for the week ending 17th inst. The river keeps at a high level, carrying along a mass of drift gravel. The Roxburgh gold steam dredge is ready for a start as soon as the river goes down again."
