The date of the Winter show of cheese, butter, grain, roots, &c, was fixed for Thursday, June 7, and a sub-committee appointed to carry out details. Ritchie (secretary of the Agricultural department) and a pampllet on clover-growing from Mr A. W. Beven were received.

The Dairy Act is to be strictly enforced. Mr Sawers examined the Ruahine's shipment and found it good. There were many infringements of the law, which will result in shippers being prosecuted.
