DISPOSAL OF CROWN LANDS.

The following sections of Crown lands have been disposed of during the past week :—: —

Section 19s, block XII, Oamaru (Teaneraki settlement), 9 acres— Philip Mertha, on lo»se in perpetuity, at an annual rental of 16s 2d per Section 24, block VI, Woodland, 208 acres— D. Sv and A. H. M. Brown, on lease in perpetuity; capital value, 22s per acr"e. Section 19, block V, Woodland, 318 acresJames Christie, under occupation with right of purchase ; capital value, 19s per acre. Section 31s, block VIII, Awamoko (Teaneraki settlement), 25 acres— John Crawford, on lease in perpetuity, at an annual rental of 16s 8d per acre.

It will be seen that two more sections of the Teaneraki settlement, acquired under the Land for Settlement Act, have been selected.
