The 11 competitors in the International Tournament just completed at New York were invited to solve the above problem from the diagram, gold pins being awarded to the first three solvers. The first prize was won by Lasker, who handed in his solution in 35 minutes, Tilsbury and Pollock following in the order named within the next 10 minutes.
