Lyell, February 9. At the Lyell Creek Company's mine the contractors have driven Bft for the week, making a distance of 15ft from the start. A leader was cut on Thursday night of nice-looking stone, but it contains no gold. The driving continues good and in favourable country for gold-bearing stone to live in.
