Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report under date 22nd January :— Prices ruled as follows at our auction sale to-day. Oats : In short supply. Prime, Is lid to 2s ; inferior, Is 9Jd to Is 10 Jd (sacks extra). Wheat : Dull. Milling, 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; fowl wheat, 2s 6d to 2s 7d (sacks in). Potatoes : Prime, £4 to £4 5s ; inferior, £3 to £3 10s (sacks in). Chaff : In good demand. Prime, £3 15s to £4 5s ; light, £2 10s to £3 7s 6d (sacks extra).
