DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Weekly Report. Messrs Wright, Stepiienson, and Co. report as follows : — A moderate demand was experienced at our sale on Saturday for young draughts and strong harness horses. The entry was a iairly large one, but was for the greater part made up of inferior
to medium hacks and harness horses, for which there was no improvement in the demand. Fresh young draughts and spring-cart and strong harness horses are the descriptions inquired for, and for which intending sellers may rely upon getting fair value in the market. We quote : For firstcass draughts (extra heavy), £25 to £30 ; for good ordinary draughts (young), £18 to £22 ; for medium draughts, £12 to £lb* ; for aged draughts, £6 to £10 ; for good hacks and harness horses, £12 to £16 ; for medium hacks and harness horses, £7 to £9 ; for light and inferior harness horses, £2 10s to £5.
