COUNTRY RACING ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the South Island Country Racing Clubs' Association was held at the Grand Hotel last Friday. Delegates were present from the Ashburton Racing Club, Tinwald Racing Club, Fairlie Jockey Club, Ida Valley Jockey Club, Tuapeka County Jockey Club, Alexandra Jockey Club, Cromwell Jockey Club, Cromwell Tradesman's Club, and Wyndham Jockey Club. It was resolved that as the election of delegates for the Otago Metropolitan district had not been completed the meeting adjourn uutil February, to be then held in Dunedin.
