Late Advertisements THE TIPPERARY GOLD MINE (LIMITED), MACETOWN, OTAGO, NEW ZEALAND. TENDERS are invited for DRIVING the NEW LOW LEVEL ADIT. The total length of the Tunnel will be 1760 ft. but the Contract can be Terminated by either Party at the end of the first 200 (two hundred) feet, and afterwards at the end of every 100 (one hundred) feet. The Company will provide Free of Charge -Tools, Trucks, Rails, Sleepers, and the use of a Forge ; also Timber where it is required. The Contractors will provide Dynamite, Fuse, Caps, Candles, and Coal ; also pay for Drill Steel actually used. The Tunnel to be sft wide inside timbers at the bottom, and to be 6ft Gin clear from rail level to inside timbers. The Tunnel to be driven to a true straight line, properly timbered if required, properly trimmed, the rails laid, line ballasted, and side drains cut, to the satisfaction of the Manager. Tenders will be received at the Offices of the Company, at Macetown, up to TUESDAY, 29th August, when the Contractor will be required to start work immediately. No payment will be made until sUft have been driven, and then SO per cent, will be held in reserve for due performance of contract. The current prices of Material at the Mine are a 9 follows :— Dynamite, £i 15s per case of 10 packets ; Fuse, lOd per coil ; caps, 5s per box of 100 ; Candles, 193 9d per box of 25 packets ; Prill Steel about 42s per cwt ; Coal, 4s to 5s od per bag 17au THE OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SOCIETY.
